About the Cantus Novus Wien
The Cantus Novus Wien chamber choir is made up of dedicated singers from the Vienna Diocesan Conservatory for Church Music. It has been directed by Thomas Holmes since 2001. With vocal fine-tuning and an intensive encounter with the music, Cantus Novus Wien aims to make every concert a special sound experience in the respective room. In 2018, the Cantus Novus Wien was honoured by Chorforum Wien as ‘Choir of the Year’ for its outstanding choral work. It impresses with its wide stylistic range at the highest level.
